Owlets

I took Fran down to see the young owls this morning. They were still on the tilty tree, but no adult was in the area. We walked up the creek looking at the beaver signs. On our way out, we saw a couple people turn off the main path. As we approached, we saw three birders looking at the owlets. I went over to see if they'd moved, and to try finding either the adults or the nest; no movement, no adults, no nest. Speaking with the ladies I found they'd been told of the birds by the same guy who told me. I'm hoping there's no crowd there tomorrow when I check.
