The weather the past few days had been unbelievable! We hit the high 80s today; the normal, multi-year average is 50 even. We had a small, but measurable snowfall on Friday. That blew the chances for setting a Latest First Snow record but just one week. If only it had held out till the 22nd.
It looks like the rut is on for the Cherry Creek deer. I've seen bucks flehmen on multiple occasions in the last week. There are a couple good buck pictures in my Local Critters album on Shutterfly.
